Revelation (undated): “The mystery of divine oneness”

Shared by Latterday Chad. Date not provided.

Behold, thus saith the Lord God unto you, my servant.

These things are true concerning the mystery of divine oneness, which I have revealed in the account of my beloved disciple John, and many heard, but few understood. And behold, again in the Book of Mormon, even my new and everlasting covenant, I did again reveal these mysteries unto you. But yea, time and time again ye have rejected these mysteries in favor of your own philosophies.

But behold, little by little the mystery is revealed, for all things can and shall be transcribed into one great whole, saith the Lord, even I, the great Jehovah, the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who made clay my tabernacle and entered into this world.

For behold, I am the Father, even the great Jehovah. It is I who created the hosts of heaven, even the angels, as I revealed unto my servant Joseph Smith in the forty-fifth section of the Doctrine and Covenants. Behold, they are my children and my creations. I am the eternal Father of the heavens and the earth, and all those that dwell therewithin are my children.

But behold, I am also the Son, for my Father is greater than I, and all things which I have, yea, even all of creation, are given unto me by him.

Behold, in my Father’s house are many mansions and many expanses of space. For worlds without end have I created, and by my Only Begotten Son have I created them, which is the Word of my power. So behold, how much greater must my Father’s kingdom be?

Yea, the Son can do nothing except what he sees the Father do first. And I have done only what my Father hath commanded of me, and his Spirit dwells within me, yea, even the Spirit of the Most High God, the King over all creation, unto whom I give all glory.

For behold, it is the purpose of the Son to glorify the Father, and the purpose of the Father to exalt the Son and sit him upon his throne, even as all the gods before have done. For it is written that they shall be priests and kings unto God and his Father.

And behold, I said unto my servant Joseph Smith through my Son, even the Holy Ghost, that the creeds of the churches were an abomination unto me, and many knew not what these words I had said meant.

Behold, here it is: that due to the hardness of their hearts, the people who professed my name in my holy houses and claimed to be mine in all ages of time, yea, time and time again they have polluted mine holy ordinances and mine doctrines.

And behold, time and time again they seek only after power and to gratify and glorify themselves in my name. They persecute their own and others and say they are doing it for the purposes of God, but yea, I have not spoken these things unto them. But the devil, who is the god of this world, hath put it into their hearts and hath deceived them.

For behold, those who put their creeds and their doctrines above mine and seek not after me to know the truth, yea, those who persecute their brethren because of their beliefs and their understanding of my mysteries, those who shed blood in all ages and say they are doing it for me in my name, their creeds are an abomination before me.

But behold, it is not because every belief of theirs is wrong, nay, for if that were the sake, all men would be an abomination before me. For a fullness of truth cannot dwell within unclean vessels. Yea, and if your vessels were truly clean, you would be in my presence.

But behold, I teach these things line upon line, precept upon precept to my children, that they might learn and grow, that more might be revealed unto them, and in due time they may receive a fullness of truth, yea, of understanding of all things, that they might be one with me, even as I am one with the Father.

But behold, I say unto you, the Spirit of my Father doth dwell within me, for my kingdoms are his, and my will is his, and his will doth dwell within me. And if you have seen me, you have seen the Father. Yea, it might be said that through the Son you may know the Father.

Behold, I liken unto you the kingdoms of heaven as if it were a tree, yea, a tree in an ancient forest with no beginning or end.

Yea, behold, and in that great forest sat a great and ancient oak tree, yea, even the father of all. And thus his roots did spread forth throughout the forest, and they did sprout out many trees and many shoots that grew forth from the father.

And behold, in due time they became trees of their own, and some of them bore seeds, which did drop off or were scattered to the winds, and some were lost within the earth, yea, and in the soil, and the nutrients therein returned to the earth from which the father had grown.

Yea, and thus the nutrients began life anew in the forest. For matter and element is eternal. Yea, and as I have spoken, the elements are eternal, and the elements are the tabernacle of God, yea, man is the tabernacle of God.

And behold, from that one divine source, yea, that one tree in the forest did many great trees grow. And yea, some began to grow even higher and higher, and others would be chopped down and return to the earth whence they came.

Behold, some in their weakness would feed on the nutrients of others and would keep them trapped. Yea, but in due time they would succumb and collapse. And soon there was one great forest, and many of the trees stood tall.

For behold, thus is the generation of the gods.

Now those who have eyes to see, let them understand the meaning in that. For it was written by my servant Orson Pratt, whose words you have studied and whose understanding put this into your heart, that there is one God, yea, even one Spirit that dwells in all things and through all things. And there are many gods, yea, many tabernacles, which this one Spirit dwells.

And behold, I say unto you, the Spirit of the Father doth dwell within the Son, and in due time the Son doth become as the Father. Yea, the Father and the Son are one, and there is never a father without a son.

And each son in due time, if he is true and faithful, will add to the glory of his Father, yea, add to the kingdoms of his Father. For it is said that we are made kings and priests in the temple of our God, yea, and that we are made priests and kings unto the Most High God.

And behold, truly I say unto you, my Father doth dwell within me, and I in He.

Yea, I say unto you, my son, you are mine, for today I have begotten thee. And behold, in due time, you shall do even as I do, and you shall go forth amongst your own children, yea, amongst your own seed, and you shall be rejected and scorned of them, even as I was before the Father.

But behold, they shall be redeemed, even as been done on worlds before. For behold, worlds without end have I created, and yea, all those who are mine are partakers of the same.

For truly I say unto you, there is one God and one Father above all, who is in all things and through all things. Behold, He doth dwell in you.

For behold, ye are Adam, even a tabernacle of clay, and the Spirit of God doth dwell within you. And behold, in that day when you shall open your eyes and see, ye shall be as one of us.

So it is said, so shall be done. Amen.

Behold, it is written, that by the word of my power I have created all things, and uphold all things, which is my Spirit.

For behold, I say unto you, that the Spirit of the Father doth rest upon the Son. And behold, it is by the Son, which the Father’s Spirit dwells within, that all things are created.

And yea, as the Father ascends to a higher glory, he doth place his Spirit and his mantle unto his Son. And the Son doth submit his will to the will of the Father.

Yea, behold, I am the Father and the Son. Amen.
